10 of 10, 5 Star, A++ overall services! Jackson County Comfort Heating and Cooling has delivered a 100% “as guaranteed” satisfaction to the comfort of my home at an unexpected, yet most desirable timeframe! I had reached out Tuesday evening after common business hours acquiring A/C services and knew immediately within that initial visit that I had made the right decision. A service technician was at my house the following morning “as I had requested” without any hesitation, and at the promised time. That’s when the second lasting impression occurred. Travis the service technician was not only extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a master of his trade, but most personable. I would have thought he was inviting me into his home, vice versa. The conversations carried were genuine and not once did I feel an upsell on the horizon. Options were discussed on the repairs/replacements looking forward and a decision was made to replace the outdated also failing A/C, Furnace, and Coil on Thursday 6/2. Leading to my final statement and final lasting impression. Cody elected to make an executive decision to go all in and have the entire system “as desired” replaced on July 4th Saturday due to the extreme climates and the understanding of not only myself, but wife, children, and pets living in this homestead. They bumped us up in their schedule and knocked it out on 6/3! Immaculate services through and through. 3 incredible installers arrived to ensure quality and completeness occurred all within the same day, in which it did! Even with a few violated codes and obstructions the original home flipper may have sprung upon the install, EVERYTHING was corrected and brought up to code. We are also flourished by the Warranty coverages and first year services that are provided then after, what a Bonus! We woke up in what I would say, “feels like a new home” on the 4th of July! For these reasons, Jackson County Comfort Heating and Cooling will forever have my gratitude and commitment!

Expert HVAC Zoning System Installation in Lee'S Summit, MO
If one room in your Lee's Summit home is always too hot while another stays too cold, a zoning system fixes that at the source. Jackson County Comfort Heating and Cooling installs zoning systems that divide your home into separate areas, each controlled by its own thermostat. Motorized dampers inside your existing ductwork open and close to send conditioned air only where it is needed. A central control panel ties everything together, reading each thermostat and directing your equipment accordingly. Homes across the Kansas City metro area often have two-story layouts where heat rises and makes upper floors unbearable in summer. Zoning addresses that directly, without forcing your whole system to run harder than it needs to. We started this business because homeowners deserve straight answers and fair pricing, not pressure tactics. If you have been told a zoning system is your only option, call us for a free second opinion before you commit.

HVAC Zoning System Installation FAQ
Common questions about hvac zoning system installation in Lee's Summit, MO.
Most Lee's Summit homes with existing ductwork can support a zoning system. Homes with multiple floors, large open areas, or rooms that consistently run hotter or colder than the rest are the strongest candidates.
In many cases, yes — motorized dampers and a control panel can be added to your existing duct system without replacing your furnace or air conditioner. A technician will assess your current setup to confirm compatibility.
The right number of zones depends on your home's layout, floor count, and which areas have the most temperature complaints. A proper assessment of your home guides that decision.
Jackson County Comfort offers free second opinions so you can verify any quote before you spend money. We review what was proposed and give you an honest assessment with no pressure.
Yes — uneven temperatures between floors are one of the most common reasons homeowners in Kansas City install zoning systems. Dampers direct more cooling upstairs in summer and more heat there in winter, balancing both levels.
Zoned systems need the same routine maintenance as a standard system, plus periodic damper inspections to confirm they open and close correctly. Keeping up with regular service protects the whole system.
